Many of us are looking for fun new places to ride! The Greenway Alliance is working hard to connect the trail system here in North East Florida. This week they will be having 2 dedications near by.
Thursday, May 9, at 10:00am, there will be a ceremony at the Armstrong crossing. It will be a great day to support the Florida Department of Environmental Protection, and their efforts to make more trails for us to use. You can see the flyer for this event below, they are asking to RSVP.
We will officially designate the
Palatka-to-St. Augustine State Trail
as part of the
East Coast Greenway
Join local and state dignitaries as we celebrate this important trail connection on
May 9th at 10 a.m.
At the trail crossing of Armstrong Road. Parking is available at Armstrong Park, 4950 Harvey Avenue, Elkton, FL 32033.
After the ceremony, lunch and a guided tour will be provided.

On Friday, there is a two part opportunity to acknowledge another part of the trail. The East Coast Greenway Alliance will be having a dedication at 9:00am in Jacksonville Beach, then move the the Ferry for a 10:30am ceremony. You will have an opportunity to ride your bike starting at 9:00am to the ferry, with full support, SAG, and rest stops compliments of REI and Velo Fest Community Initiative.
