There are 3 special additions to our shirts this year besides our newest sponsors. Did you notice?

2013 is going to be an amazing year for Velo Fest Community Initiative. Having the VW Bulli Bus crowd only enhanced the quirkiness that is a bike festival. But did you notice our logo grew a mustache?

We would like to let everyone know that Velo Fest is in full support of the british invasion in September 2013 of Mumford and Sons and the Gentlemen of the Road tour. Having it be the bookend, last stop, on the #GOTR tour is possibly a once in a lifetime opportunity for our amazing little town to be on a entirely new map. With the focus of the city on “destination awareness” and the celebration of the 250th anniversary of the british invasion into St. Augustine, it is truly the perfect moment for our town with 25,000 tickets pre sold.

Velo Fest Community Initiative has been approached to assist in all things bicycle.  Many more details to come, many more details to plan, many more details to the details, but we can’t wait to develop our part in this, what will undoubtedly be, a historic moment unto itself.
